17th century jettied house.This is a timbered-framed house jettied towards fossgate built in the early 17th century. There is just one room on each floor. Later another house was added at the back, and the shop on the ground floor runs through both properties into Black Bull Lane. (Ref.1) Photo: taken 16 April 2006 |
