Guildhall

Mid-15th century.

Built at the joint expense of the Guild of St. Christopher and the City in about 1450. At the reformation in 1535 the city became the sole owners. (Ref. 2) The guildhall was bombed in 1942 and only the shell remained. It was restored to the original design from the shell in the late 1950s. (Ref. 1)
