20-23 The Shambles

18th century.

Number 20 (white shop front) is of mid 18th century build, whilst numbers 21-23 is a block built in the early 18th century. The south wall of number 23 is built on the remains of the north wall of St. Crux church demolished in 1877.(Ref. 1)
