Class Details
Us Army Transportation Corps Class S160 2-8-0.
Brought over for service to the military in Europe and used widely throughout Britain, especially on the LNER, before the Normandy invasion in June 1944. These engines, unlike their British counterparts, were never returned to the USA except for a number of latter day imports for preservation.
