York Within the Walls

A virtual, self-directed walk around the streets of York within the Bar Walls

The content of this site is owned by me, Dave Woodcock.

The photographs are mine and were taken on either an Olympus C7070 or a Panasonic DMC-FZ18 digital camera on the dates indicated.
They were processed using The Gimp in a Linux OS and are of low resolution to keep bandwidth down.

Much of the information is extracted from the books referenced. I am solely responsible for the wording of the extraction.

It is hoped in the near future to offer a CD of the whole site at a moderate cost (with the photos at a higher resolution that those on line). If you are interested let me know.
