This is quite a long street (for York within the walls) which runs north from King's Square to Monk Bar.

It contains the oldest houses still used in York (Lady Row), and other medieval buildings as well as Monk Bar, the tallest of York's gateways. Holy Trinity Church (HT) is located behind Lady Row.
