!7th century inn.This inn has been added to over the course of two or three centuries. The oldest part is that adjacent to Queen Street with two gables end on to Blossom Street which are late 17th century and which may be a rebuild of damage caused in the Civil War. Immediately to the left of that is a part of the inn built in the 1730s To the left of that, and just visible in the photograph is an early 19th century addition to the inn.
