Toll Booth

Tolls were charged from 1863 to 1894.

Initial toll rates (each way)
foot passanger: 1/2d
horse/horse drawn vehicle: 1d
pigs, sheep, lambs: 2 1/2d per 20
cattle, oxen: 5d per 20.

The booth was castelated to make it fit in with the adjacent Bar Walls.
