St. John's

Church of St. John the Evangelist at Bridgend.

12th century tower and a church built from then to the 15th century. The steeple on the tower was blown down in the mid 16th century and the present belfry was built in 1646 during the Parliamentary period. The north wall is from 1850 when North Street was widened. (Ref. 1b)
