All Saints

15th century and later.

All Saints church was established in the 11th century and enlarged successively until the 15th. Much of the 15th century glass remains (as well as some from the 14th) and the church is noted for this. The south wall (shown here) is 19th century from a major restoration in 1867. A further restoration was carried out in 1977. The spire rises to a height of 36 m (120 ft). (Ref. 1b)
