Bar Walls at Tower 33.
Ahead is Layerthorpe Bridge rebuilt in the late 20th century to accommodate the traffic on the Inner Ring Road. Layerthorpe Postern itself was demolished in 1830 when a new bridge over the Foss was built. Widened in the early 20th century, the Inner Ring road had to do a Z-bend over the bridge, hence the rebuilding.
Move forward to Tower 34, now the termination of this stretch of the wall after the removal of Layerthorpe Postern.
